We strive to maintain data security for all our customers and, therefore we can only provide other users access upon written request from the person who owns the data, the bill payer.
We have 2 main Consultant and Farmer roles, being Primary and Secondary.
There can only be 1 primary user for both Consultant and Farmer roles.
The reason why we have Primary user roles is so the HelpDesk knows who the main contact is for each farm.
Secondary users have the same rights but will not be contacted before Primary users for any enquiries.
Different Permission levels include:
Primary Consultant – Edit and Review
Primary Farmer - Edit
Secondary Consultant – Edit and Review
Secondary Farmer – Edit
Limited User – for Professional subscriptions only, limited users will have access Farmtools software only
Associate – Read – Only
If you would like to share your farm data with another user, please e-mail the HelpDesk at firstname.lastname@example.org providing the users full name and what access you would like them to have
What permission do I have?
To check what role, you have for a farm, you can see this in your cloud window in the file description panel on your right. Primary users are shown as either Consultant or Farmer, secondary users show as 2° Consultant or Farmer.
