Create planned sales
based on liveweight
What is it?
When planning upcoming sales you can enter sale events based on the weight of the animals at that time. Use this feature to forecast when your finnishing stock will be ready for sale.
Follow the below steps to set this sale up:
Go to the Lambs mob -> number screen
Click in the month you would like to sell in the sell column
Go to the New button located just below the table
Enter the date of sale
Choose From -> Whole mob -> Heaviest
Then choose to sell -> Above -> then enter the weight
To get the most accurate forecats, you can update your liveweight targets under the mob level -> liveweight screen.
